Northwest Justice Project Launches National Language Rights Campaign Toolkit

Northwest Justice Project, the LSC-funded civil legal aid provider for Washington state, recently launched the National Language Rights Campaign Toolkit. Funded by a Technology Initiative Grant, the project goal was to develop a social media toolkit for legal aid organizations designed to inform the public of their right to translation and interpretation services and remedies available when services are not provided. The toolkit was developed such that legal aid organizations and community partners around the country can use it.

The toolkit includes customizable social media posts, captions, and hashtags, all translated into 11 languages. It includes video tutorials on how to use the toolkit and raise awareness within your communities regarding their language rights.

See the attached link for the toolkit and more details.
