5. Twitter
Right now Twitter is one of the most used platform for social media by nonprofits. Legal services nonprofits in general are less active on twitter.
Use Pictures
People tend to follow lots of people and have to scroll through their tweets quickly, the easiest way to catch someone’s eye in a sea of text is with an image. Pictures are also great because they convey a lot of information without eating up your 140 characters.

In addition to the three previously mentioned platforms there are a few others that should be mentioned. While valuable you are probably not going to spend much time on these platforms, they are a bit more specialized.

Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands (LAS) is soliciting a request for proposal for the services and systems needed to migrate and host all accounting functions in a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System that interfaces with our current Case Management system (Legal Server), our payroll system (Paylocity) and our donor management system (Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge). The Alaska Court System is looking for an Administrative Attorney to serve as a technology attorney to provide legal expertise and project management to new initiatives and technology projects. The current projects assigned to this positions include our Online Dispute Resolution portal and Electronic Evidence Management System. Other projects will be assigned as technology opportunities are identified and as needs arise. The position requires residing in Alaska, preferably Anchorage.
