Today, we are launching our next crowdsourced database which will focus on technology based consumer self-help solutions. These may be things such as web based information hubs, online portals, or websites that help consumers complete paperwork. Examples include Upsolve, the Filing Fairness Project, or Michigan Legal Help. If it is out there and designed to help consumers with legal issues, we want to know about it and include it in the database.

FosterPower is a program created and managed by Bay Area Legal Services and funded by the Legal Services Corporation.
LSNTAP is pleased to introduce Shannon De Poorter, our new program coordinator. Shannon comes to us with a wealth of experience in customer service, social media management, and finance and we are fortunate to have her join our team. Shannon will be bringing a new perspective to the team because she will be dividing her time between LSNTAP and Michigan Advocacy Program's IT department. This will allow her to keep a finger on the pulse of what busy IT departments face and help us shape our future programming.
Join guest speakers Tim Wachenfeld, Blair Sordetto, and Miguel Castillo for a discussion on managing the technology resources of legal aid and non-profit organizations. The session will define inventory management, describe how and when to manage inventory, and give examples from the field. Although the discussion will center on inventory of technology resources, the lessons are applicable to other types of inventory.
