LSNTAP Kickoff Event Recap
LSNTAP hosted a virtual event on May 20, 2021. The goals of the event were to update the community on LSNTAP, connect the legal aid technology community, and provide the opportunity to get feedback from the community. The event also allowed participants to (virtually) network throughout the event.

We heard from Nicole Golden-Bouchard, the Statesidelegal.org website coordinator. Statesidelegal.org provides legal resources for veterans, service members, and their families. Statesidelegal.org presentation.
We also heard from Margaret Hagan, the director of the Stanford Legal Design Lab. Margaret spoke about LIST taxonomy. The goal of LIST is to standardize codes and definitions of legal issues for everyday litigants. LIST presentation.
Jane Ribadenyera, Program Analyst for Technology at LSC, spoke about the Automated Document Initiative and using document assembly platforms for efficiency, accuracy, and support for pro bono efforts. Automated Document Initiative presentation.
