Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been around for many years. However, the release of ChatGPT on November 30, 2022, brought the power of AI to the masses in the form of a large language model (LLM). Despite the legal profession having the reputation of being slow to adopt technology, a few eager attorneys took advantage of the new tools and found out to their detriment that LLMs are not the most reliable sidekick.
LSNTAP has created a Google Group for Project Managers working in the legal aid and legal services market. Whether you have formal project management credentials or were thrust into the role, this group is meant to support you in the work you do every day.

Today, we are spotlighting community member Ryan Levels. Ryan is the Data and Evaluation Manager at Community Legal Aid and has lots of experience in mobile app development and software engineering. Ryan is currently pursuing a master’s degree in data science and is interested in machine learning and artificial intelligence. He is working on transitioning to legal server, data reports, and data visualizations.
Every day across the country and beyond, there are professionals working in the legal aid non-profit community whose roles cross over into the legal tech area. These roles include IT professionals, accidental techies, legal practitioners, legal aid management, and more. We want to introduce our members to people that are working in the trenches getting things done so that they feel that community spirit and know that they are not alone.
