Providing Legal Services Remotely

There’s a movement across many different human services fields toward providing services via web conferencing, texting, video, interactive websites and even Skype.  How can organizations make the most of these technologies to provide services to geographically distributed constituents or support staff in the field?  Building on a collection of case studies and best practices, Idealware will host a discussion looking in depth at examples from both the legal aid world and the wider nonprofit sector. Join us for this session, based on new Idealware research, highlighting how we can draw out lessons learned from innovation outside the legal aid sector to solve pressing remote service delivery issues for our community.

This session will be presented by:

Laura Quinn, Idealware

Kate Bladow, Powered Pursuits

Tony Lu, Immigration Advocates Network

Ed Higgins Montana Legal Services
