As the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) continues to grow, court cases, attorney guidance, judicial opinions, and state bar ruminations are abounding. Opinions on whether lawyers should use AI in their work will flourish. As these come to our attention, we will add them to this database and we hope this will become a great roundup of materials.

Join your fellow Data Specialists and legal aid staff tasked with crunching data for our monthly office hours.
These office hours will occur monthly on the second Monday from 2 pm to 3 pm Eastern. Each month, a community member will share information on a topic of interest. Attendees will be able to ask questions, discuss relevant information, and receive feedback from the community.
Register to attend.
Sometimes, LSNTAP's role is to share other resources available to the community. For those interested in data, there is a young but thriving community growing through the Legal Aid Data Google Group started by Susan Vincent of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
We are planning webinars or training sessions on the topics listed below and would like to hear from anyone interested in sharing their knowledge with the community. We have a team that creates the slides based on speaker input so the lift is not a big one--usually just a few short planning sessions.
Current topics:
