Regardless of whether you're working for a smaller organization or a huge one, you're most likely in the end going to need to round out a Request for Proposal, or RFP. Your organization can't do everything internally, and when your business needs to buy a product or service from somewhere else, you may need to look around for a solution. An RFP enables you to gather offers from different sellers and select the merchant that best meets your criteria, both concerning aptitude and spending plan.
There is a wide variety of organizational and project management tools out there, and they are definitely a must for your organization if you want to keep your projects streamlined and moving forward. I have put together a list of the four most popular task/project management tools and have organized them from least to most complicated. All of these tools listed here are quality tools I can recommend, which particular tool is right for you and your organization will depend on what functionality you need.
Remote testing
Remote testing allows you to conduct usability tests with the participants utilizing their own computers through online usability programs. Although these can be customized, overall the tests are between 15 and 30 minutes and contain 3-5 tasks per test. They can be moderated or unmoderated, depending on your needs and the platform.
Below are the worksheets used at the 2015 TIG Conference Session on Collaborative Game Design. The worksheets were developed parallel to Dr. Harteveld's Triadic Game Design (TGD) book to educate about TGD a model which incorprates reality, meaning, and play in game design. New Haven Legal Assistance partnered with NuLawLab and Dr. Harteveld to create a game which could better prepare self-represented litigants for their day in court.
The webinar is Language Access Strategies for Legal Aid Websites and will look at some of the topics surrounding removing language as a barrier to access online content. We will cover topics including maintaining multilingual content, where machine translation fits into the translation workflow, and how are people with limited English currently using online resources. We don’t have the solid takeaways like in the phishing webinar but there were a few interesting points we discussed.
