The Technology Coordinator will oversee the acquisition, development, implementation, and use of technology throughout the firm, working closely with advocacy staff to assess and address user needs. Areas of responsibility include the full range of information systems and telecommunications activities, including computer systems and system design, database administration, software selection, staff training in the use of applications, and ongoing hardware, software, and networking technical support. This position reports to the Executive Director. Other principal working relationships include the executive staff, supervising attorneys, system users, vendors and consultants. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Manage the deployment, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals. 2. Oversee development, enhancement and integration of new systems with existing systems. 3. Work with advocacy staff to develop strategies and plans to enhance client services, improve user effectiveness, and foster innovation. 4. Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols to IT staff and end-users related to architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision. 5. Provide end-user services, including help desk and technical support services. 6. Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements. 7. Manage servers, security solutions, network hardware and equipment. 8. Manage telecommunications infrastructure and development plans, projects, policies and procedures. 9. Maintain organization
