Remember the Milk for GMail

This afternoon, Kathleen pointed out that my "Guru," Lifehacker founder Gina Trapani, was interviewed in the New York Times about her recent book. I do love the Lifehacker blog - mainly because it has introducted me to some of my favorite productivity tools.

And at the top of that list has to be the Remember the Milk Gmail extension for Firefox. If there is one thing I require in a task management tool, it's simplicity. I know from experience that an overly complex system is only going to leave me frustrated and lose its effectiveness. That's why I'm so happy with RTM. The tool embeds my to-do list right besides my inbox in Gmail and allows me to easily add and edit tasks in my email client. It's simple but effective, so classic Lifehacker.

As someone whose co-workers

As someone whose co-workers have been known to call "forgot the milk", I just tried this and it is just the one thing I've been missing my whole life (well I admit thats an exaggeration). Since my life revolves around my email, what better thing than to have the list right there. Thanks David, Thanks Lifehacker.
