Our LegalMeetings material was restructured in October 2007. We've left this article in as a courtesy, but cannot guarantee that it is up to date. Please have a look at the new LegalMeetings section.
Thanks.
You're ready to get started with GoToMeeting and are not sure where to begin? Well, here are some materials for you to consider. We recommend that if you have never used web conferencing, start with Introduction to LegalMeetings for Poverty Law to learn how to apply web conferencing to your daily work. If you want the nuts and bolts of using GoToMeeting, start with the LegalMeetings Roundtables and the Citrix PowerPoint Materials. Enjoy.
1. Introduction to LegalMeetings for Poverty Law. This is the PowerPoint (available also as a PDF) that NTAP created to help programs understand the value of LegalMeetings in a poverty law setting. It covers how to use web conferencing in a legal aid setting, how to sign up, start a meeting, and reviews features. (Trainer notes included in PPT.)
2. LegalMeetings Roundtable Sessions. These sessions cover a series of topics and include bite-sized PowerPoints and PDF presentations of simple tasks: Setting Up an Account, Scheduling a Meeting or Webinar, Polling & Reports, Sharing Docs, Intro to Webinar, and more.
3. Citrix GoToMeeting Training Materials. This link includes the PowerPoints (and PDFs) of Citrix's training material for GoToMeeting and GotoWebinar. Also includes Quick Reference Guides (PDF). These materials go hand-in-hand with regular online trainings available to you every Tuesday or Thursday. Learn more about signing up for one of these free trainings by Citrix.
4. Making the Change. For our former WebEx users and those setting up a new account, this PowerPoint and PDF lets you know what to expect and how to set up an account with Citrix and NTAP.
5. Introduction to GoToMeeting for Organizers. Once you have signed up and are ready to use the tool, these short PowerPoints and PDFs are available for you to download and use prior to any of your own meetings. It will help users get acclimated and remind you of what the attendee sees on their screen. Short and sweets. Highly recommended!
