Login Instructions for an NTAP Training

Need Help Logging In or Registering for a Training?

As of May 2007, we are using Citrix GoToWebinar for NTAP trainings. As such, you can no longer just join a webinar without registering first.

The good news is, however, even if you are late in registering, you can still do so up through the start time of the training and join us. Note: There are a couple of events that DO NOT require registration: Techie Noodling Roundtables and LegalMeetings Roundtables. These are just GoToMeeting events that you join the day of.

 

How Do I Register? Every training has its own specific registration link, so I can't give you one here to simply click on. You need to find your training and click on its title. You should see "REGISTER HERE" text above and below the training description. Click it to register. GoToWebinar will automatically send you a link that you can click on to enter the training. If you are registering the day of the training, you will be automatically routed to the training in session.

When Does the Training Start? NTAP trainings normally start at 11 am Pacific / 2 pm Eastern. (12 pm Mountain / 1 pm Central). They are 90 minutes long.

What Do I Need to Attend? NTAP's webinars use LegalMeetings web conferencing software with Citrix GoToWebinar. You can attend from your own office. You need a PC with Windows 2000 or XP or better. You need a phone that can dial a long distance number. You can use any browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape). No soundcards or special programs are needed.

When Do I Log in?
Please log in 15 minutes early.

 

How Do I Log in? To log in, you will go to a link provided by Citrix GoToWebinar. If you have not registered, you can register up until the day before the event.


What If I’ve Never Done This Before? Or Have Questions?
We recommend logging in 30 minutes early before the session using these directions if you have never done it before. If you are unable to log in after using these instructions, you can contact info@lsntap.org. Note that if you contact us right before the training, you might not reach us as we're getting started.

What Can I Expect After I Join? When you are connected, you will see what is on the presenters’ computer and you will be on a call with other advocates from around the country in legal services. You will have the ability to mute yourself if you need to.

What If I’m Late? Please join on time. We cannot guarantee you access to the training after the training starts.

Are There Materials for the Training? Yes, we will upload them by 8 am Pacific / 11 am Eastern the day of the training. Although we send a direct link to registrants via email, you can likely access the materials through the training event at http://lsntap.org/event . (Click on the training you signed up for and then look for "View Module" button lower left corner.)

How Do I Reach Becky or Gabe? Becky and Gabrielle will usually be able to give you information, although we are generally harder to reach the day of the training. In an emergency, you can contact us through: info@lsntap.org.
