Can VLN Help?
VLN provides a wide array of legal services to persons from households at or below 300% of the federal poverty guidelines (FPG). This interview form is a guide for legal and social services staff about VLN legal services in various areas. This form works by your selecting the buttons, below, as applicable. The form then tells you what services VLN offers for that combination of criteria.

Please note: for any walk-in clinics listed below, no appointments are necessary and the individual does not need to call the VLN Client Intake Line to receive services at the clinic.
Services: Attorneys provide 15-20 minute sessions regarding bankruptcy and debtor-creditor issues.
Geographic Requirement: statewide
Walk-In: First come, first served basis. If the list is full, an individual may have to return another time.

Bankruptcy Statewide Phone Advice
Attorneys provide 20 to 30 minutes of legal advice by phone during a scheduled appointment time.
To request phone advice, call the VLN Client Intake line. An intake specialist will ask questions to determine eligibility and, if yes, give instructions for receiving an attorney's call.
Paperwork regarding the issue is extremely helpful and allows the attorney to provide more specific advice.
