Tools for the Practice of Poverty Law

For poverty law lawyers, going to court is easy. Working with task force committees, planning your program's staff retreat, training your new lawyers, and writing proposals to fund these efforts? That part can be complex and time consuming. NTAP offers tools to help you collaborate and represent clients more effectively.

Some tools are free. Some require nominal costs to cover NTAP’s license agreements. We provide support for you and your program to set up and use any of them effectively.

  • InterCall -- Toll-Free Phone Conferencing Every legal aid program needs a conference calling service.   • Poverty Law Survey Tool Need to create online surveys to evaluate projects or set priorities? NTAP's newly redesigned online survey tool is free to poverty law and legal aid programs. The best part about the Survey Tool is what we call "social surveying." You don't have to start from scratch -- NTAP has culled 13 model surveys on common legal aid topics that are available for you to edit. And, you can share your surveys.
