In 2010, NTAP will be hosting four Executive Leadership Roundtables. This new series is aimed at Executive Directors and Administrators and will focus on technology planning and policy development. Meetings, which will be between 45 and 60 minutes long, will begin at 11 Pacific, 2 pm Eastern (12 M | 1 C).
Here's our schedule this year:
- Wednesday, April 28th - "Remote Supervision." Presenters were Alison Paul, Deputy Director of Montana Legal Services Association and Eric Mittelstadt, Deputy Director of Utah Legal Services.
- You can find materials from this roundtable here.
- Thursday June 17th - "Knowledge Tools." Marc Lauritsen will discuss ideas and suggestions from his new book The Lawyer's Guide to Working Smarter with Knowledge Tools. He’ll talk with us about how intelligent systems make us happier and more effective and why we don't make more use of them. This roundtable is geared toward directors and legal aid decision makers rather than tech support staff. Although it has a tech focus, it really is about improving the legal work in your law office.
- Marc's presentation is posted here.
- Thursday August 19 (topic to be determined)
- Thursday October 21 (topic to be determined)
